What you’ll be doing
As our Senior Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll provide hands-on and remote support for infrastructure services, respond to business queries, and collaborate with other teams as required. You’ll be reducing risks, improving SLAs, and continuously supporting improvements to tech infrastructure.
- Provide advanced support for cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft 365 and Azure (including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Intune).
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for the Service Desk, Engineering, and other support teams, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Manage projects involving migrations, implementations, and infrastructure relocations, ensuring smooth execution and minimal downtime.
- Own complex technical challenges, performing root cause analyses and implementing long-term solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the Security Lead to implement best-practice configurations for security platforms, such as Azure AD Conditional Access and SSO services.
- Manage relationships with external network service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating issues as necessary.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software and operating system patching, version upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide advanced support for (Active Directory, Group Policy creation, DHCP, DNS, scheduled software deployments, network policy enforcement, and certificate management (e.g., PKI/SSL/TLS).
- Leverage common technology support tools, such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Mobile Device/Application Management systems, and Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware platforms.
You’ll have
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows Server and Windows 10/11.
- Extensive administration experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure (including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Intune).
- Experience in virtualization administration on platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
- In-depth knowledge of IPv4 networking concepts and protocols, including DHCP, DNS, TCP, S/FTP, SMTP, NTP, subnetting and VLAN configuration.
- Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSL/TLS certificate management and identity federation protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams.
- Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with colleagues across different roles, while being adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Process improvement mindset, exhibit a keen eye for optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Desirable
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting or coding languages such as VBA or Python, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
- AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and ECS, alongside AWS infrastructure management skills.
- Linux/Unix Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, including practical experience with associated tools and workflows.
- Financial Services Experience: Previous exposure to trade floor support or the financial services industry is considered a strong asset.
