What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this is an important role in our growing Finance team. This role is a 2-year FTC. This role will focus on the following areas:
- Analysis of brokerage costs, rebates, exchange fees, and clearing fees. You will also ensure that we validate all third-party invoices/statements whilst managing profit and loss and balance sheets for these areas – this will include proposing month-end journals and completing month-end processes.
- Monitor business-as-usual financial processes and controls with the aim to drive continuous improvement and implement changes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all brokerage invoices and queries are dealt with on a timely basis and in a professional manner.
- Ensure brokerage invoices are paid on time and within the net terms.
- Advise on brokerage and other material cash inflows and outflows.
- Prepare reconciliations and provide commentary on broker invoice variances versus our internal calculations.
- Complete month-end tasks within specified timescales.
- Adapt and prioritise any urgent business needs, and raise any urgent issues to the Senior Financial Analyst
You’ll have
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience in managing high data volumes.

- SQL/Python/VBA/Tableau skills.
- Experience using financial accounting software, e.g. Oracle NetSuite.
